How it works
Play to Rank sells advertising placement on two leaderboards: PC Games and Mobile Games. It's not a review score or a popularity vote. Rank is decided by how much each developer chooses to put in.
1. Two independent boards
PC and Mobile each show up to 10 spots. A PC game and a mobile game never compete against each other.
2. You name your price
There's no fixed price list. When you add your game, you choose how much to pay (minimum $1) at checkout. Your rank is simply where that amount sorts against everyone else currently live. Pay more than the current #1 and you take the top spot.
3. Top up anytime to climb
Someone paid more than you and knocked you down? Go to Manage my listing and add more at any point while your listing is still live. Your total is cumulative, and rank updates the moment a payment clears. Topping up raises your rank, not your time; your listing still expires exactly 2 hours from when you first claimed it. No bidding war deadline, no auction clock, just whoever has put in the most right now.
4. Your own 2-hour timer, not a shared clock
Each claim runs for its own 2-hour window starting the moment you pay, there's no fixed schedule, so there's no dead time waiting for a reset. Claim at 3:47 and you're guaranteed a full 2 hours, all the way to 5:47, no matter when anyone else claims. When your timer runs out, your listing drops off the live board and moves to Just Launched; whoever's next by total paid slides up to fill the spot.
5. Only the top 10 show
At any given moment, only the top 10 currently-live listings by total paid are displayed. Everyone else's payment still counts, so top up enough and you can still break in before your timer runs out.
6. Claiming takes under 2 minutes
Paste your store link. We detect PC or Mobile automatically and pull your title and thumbnail straight from the listing, so there's nothing to type wrong. Enter your email and your bid, then pay with PayPal. You're live as soon as payment clears, and you'll add a tagline, a one-line "why play this," and up to three genre tags right after.
7. Every link is checked automatically
Links only come from Steam, itch.io, the App Store, or Google Play, and each one can only be claimed once, ever. We fetch the page server-side to confirm it's a real listing, and run the title and your text through a basic content filter. There's no manual review step; a listing that fails any of these checks is rejected before payment, and one that passes goes live immediately after.
8. Anyone can report a listing
Every live card has a Report link, no account needed. A listing that draws a pattern of reports gets pulled while we look into it; new claims keep processing normally in the meantime.
9. This is paid placement, not a review
Every slot on this board, and every card in Just Launched, is here because a developer paid for it. Automated checks confirm a listing is real and clean, they don't mean anyone at Play to Rank has played, tested, or endorsed the game. A higher rank means a bigger payment, not a better game. Treat it the way you'd treat any paid ad placement.
